The Stench of Truth 75.Horrors! “Possible” fraud at Fannie Mae!? Is anyone REALLY surprised. Lehman Brothers finally goes under, declaring bankruptcy. I guess someone there didn’t grease the proper hand. AIG is looking for a $40 Billion loan from the Federal Reserve in order to satay afloat. Merril Lynch sells itself to Bank of America for $50 Billion, no doubt just before bankruptcy itself. This all parallels in great detail the Great Depression where small banks and companies went under and were bought up by larger and larger firms concentrating the financial power in this country into fewer and fewer hands. It’s happening again. I predict further low interest rates and maybe even rate cuts to continue. The bottom is still a ways off people. One final note. Hurricane Ike was so “unnatural” it made me wonder about weather warfare. I know we’re looking into this and the USSR probably did too. It seems more than possible that Russia using technology first invented by the USSR could be directing it against us in the form of weather warfare, creating storms to try and cripple us. Then again it may be the US doing it to ourselves to further erode dissent and pave the way for martial law and tyrrany.
